BLT Dip

BLT Dip layers a smooth mixture of cream cheese, sour cream, and ranch seasoning topped with shredded romaine lettuce, diced tomatoes, crumbled cooked bacon, and sliced green onions. This multi-textured dip features a creamy base with fresh, crisp, and smoky elements, designed for serving chilled and spread onto scooped chips or crackers.

Description

This BLT Dip starts with softened cream cheese whipped together with sour cream and ranch seasoning to create a creamy and tangy base. The layered toppings mimic traditional BLT sandwich ingredients, including finely shredded romaine lettuce for crunch, seeded diced tomatoes for freshness, crumbled cooked bacon for salty, smoky flavor, and sliced green onions for a mild onion bite.

The dip is assembled in a dish, making it easy to serve as an appetizer or snack ideal for parties. The textural contrast from creamy to crisp ingredients adds interest with each bite. The ranch seasoning enhances the overall flavor, tying the components together without overpowering them.

This dip can be prepared ahead by mixing the base layer, but the fresh toppings should be added just before serving to retain their texture and prevent wilting. Choosing a round 9-inch dish suits the recipe well for serving but can be adjusted with size for thicker or thinner layers. Bacon bits can be homemade or store-bought for convenience.
