BLT Pizza

The BLT Pizza uses a pre-made pizza crust topped with Alfredo sauce, mozzarella cheese, grape tomatoes, fully cooked bacon, and fresh arugula. Baking until golden with bubbly cheese results in a pizza that combines creamy, savory, and fresh flavors. The addition of arugula after baking adds a peppery, crisp contrast to the warm toppings. This pizza serves as a flavorful meal or shared appetizer.

Description

BLT Pizza starts with a refrigerated pizza crust that is prebaked briefly to set the base, preventing sogginess after toppings are added. Alfredo sauce spread on the crust provides a creamy, garlicky foundation enhanced by shredded mozzarella cheese melted until bubbly and golden around the edges. Halved grape tomatoes add bursts of juiciness and mild acidity, balancing the richness.

Fully cooked and diced bacon pieces contribute smoky, salty notes characteristic of a BLT, without the need for extra cooking time. Once baked, fresh arugula is layered on top, imparting a fresh, slightly bitter contrast and providing a crisp texture different from the warm, melty pizza components.

This pizza can be enjoyed as a casual lunch or dinner. The combination of creamy sauce, melted cheese, fresh vegetables, and bacon creates a satisfying mix of textures and flavors.
