Blue Cheese Coleslaw

Blue Cheese Coleslaw blends shredded cabbage and carrots with crumbled blue cheese in a creamy dressing made from mayonnaise, cider vinegar, blue cheese dressing, garlic, brown sugar, salt, and pepper. The mixture offers a tangy, slightly sweet flavor with creamy and crunchy textures, suitable as a side dish or topping for various meals.

Description

The Blue Cheese Coleslaw recipe combines shredded cabbage and carrots with crumbled blue cheese to add a rich, tangy bite. The dressing is a creamy mix built from mayonnaise, cider vinegar, a complementary blue cheese dressing, minced garlic, brown sugar, and seasonings. These ingredients provide a balance of savory, sweet, and acidic flavors that coat the vegetables thoroughly.

The coleslaw is stirred well to ensure even distribution of the dressing and cheese. It can be served immediately for a crisp texture or refrigerated up to three days to allow flavors to meld and the cabbage to soften slightly, depending on preference.

This coleslaw is a flavorful side that can accompany grilled meats or sandwiches, and adding extra blue cheese crumbles on top enhances the dish’s distinct taste and creamy texture.
