Blueberry Lemonade

Blueberry Lemonade infuses freshly squeezed lemon juice with muddled blueberries and a simple syrup made from water and sugar. This refreshing drink balances tartness with sweetness and a subtle blueberry flavor. It can be served chilled over ice or kept in the refrigerator to develop deeper berry notes. Straining is optional depending on preference for texture.

Description

The lemonade starts with a simple syrup prepared by dissolving sugar in water over heat and then cooling. This syrup blends with freshly squeezed lemon juice, additional water, and muddled blueberries to create the lemonade base. Stirring ensures an even distribution of flavors. Chilling the mixture overnight allows the blueberry flavor to infuse fully, and users can strain the drink to remove pulp and berry bits or serve as is for more texture.

This blueberry lemonade provides a bright, tangy taste with sweet undertones from the syrup and berry essence. Serving chilled with frozen blueberries enhances its refreshing quality, making it a suitable beverage for warmer days or social gatherings where a fruity lemonade is desired.

The recipe makes a large batch that can be halved if a smaller quantity is needed, offering flexibility for different occasions.
