Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
- ⅔ cup brown sugar
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ cup cold butter cut into cubes
- 21 ounces blueberry pie filling or 10 ounces jam*

Instructions
- In mixing bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, and baking soda.
- Using a pastry blender, cut in the cold butter cubes until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Reserve 1/2 cup of the flour mixture and set aside for the topping.
- Spray a 9x9 baking pan with cooking spray.
- Press remaining flour mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- Spread the pie filling or jam on top of the flour.
- Sprinkle with reserved flour mixture.
- Press the topping gently into the jam with the palms of your hands.
- Bake at 350F for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Allow the bars to cool completely, then cut and serve.
Notes
- *Use whatever type of pie filling or jam that you'd like. If you use a whole can (21 ounces) of pie filling, your bars will turn out more like a cobbler. If you choose to use jam, the bars will be firmer.
