Blueberry Smoothie
Description
This smoothie combines apple juice as a liquid base with ripe banana and frozen blueberries, which provide fruitiness and antioxidants. Vanilla-flavored Greek yogurt adds creaminess and protein, resulting in a thick and smooth drink when blended thoroughly. The frozen blueberries give the smoothie a chilled consistency without needing ice.
The balance between the naturally sweet banana and juice complements the tartness of the blueberries while the yogurt rounds out the texture. The ingredients blend uniformly into a visually appealing light purple color. Optional garnishes such as fresh blueberries and mint can offer added freshness and an appealing presentation.
Serve this blueberry smoothie chilled as a nutritious start to the day, a light dessert, or a refreshing snack. Substituting the juice with alternatives like almond milk or dairy milk alters the flavor and mouthfeel but maintains the smoothie’s creamy body.
