Bone In Pork Chops on the Grill

Report
Bone-in pork chops are seasoned with a simple mix of paprika, salt, and black pepper, then grilled over direct and indirect heat to achieve a flavorful crust and juicy interior. The grilling technique involves searing the chops briefly on high heat before cooking them through more gently. Resting the meat after grilling allows juices to redistribute for a tender result.

Description

These grilled bone-in pork chops are prepared by first applying olive oil to the meat, then seasoning it with paprika, salt, and black pepper. The chops are seared over direct high heat on the grill to develop a browned exterior, then moved to indirect heat to finish cooking at a medium temperature, ensuring the interior reaches a safe 145°F.

The grilling process takes about 15 to 20 minutes total, and resting the pork chops after removing them from the heat helps maintain juiciness. This method produces chops with a nicely charred surface and a moist, tender center.

Ideal for serving warm, these pork chops pair well with grilled vegetables or salad. Leftovers can be stored in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator for up to five days, making them convenient for meals ahead.
