Boneless Pork Loin Roast
Description
This recipe coats a 3-pound boneless pork loin with a mixture of unsalted butter blended with fresh rosemary, thyme, parsley, minced garlic, kosher salt, and coarse black pepper. The butter-herb mixture is thoroughly spread over the top surface of the pork to infuse flavor and retain moisture during roasting. The pork roast is cooked uncovered at 375°F for about one hour until its internal temperature reaches between 145 and 160 degrees Fahrenheit, ensuring it is fully cooked but still juicy.
The roasting method permits the exterior to form a subtle crust from the herb butter, while the interior remains tender and flavorful. Allowing the roast to rest three minutes after removal gives time for the juices to settle, facilitating cleaner slicing and better moisture retention. This pork loin pairs well with roasted vegetables or a simple gravy for a hearty main dish.
