Boston Market Meatloaf
Description
The meatloaf mixture is prepared by blending ground beef with onion, garlic salt, diced tomatoes, breadcrumbs, and egg, which helps keep the loaf moist and cohesive. The mixture is formed into a loaf and baked at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. After initial baking, excess grease is drained, and a tomato sauce combined with sugar is poured over the top. The meatloaf returns to the oven for about 30 minutes to let the glaze set and bake through.
The final dish features a slightly sweet, tomato-based glaze atop a savory meat base that stays juicy yet firm. This meatloaf can be served sliced for dinner alongside sides like mashed potatoes or vegetables.
