Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 large red onion thinly sliced
- 1 medium red cabbage cored and sliced
- 2 apples cored and sliced
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice

- Preheat a large pot over medium heat and add olive oil. Sauté the onions for about 5 minutes, until they become soft and translucent.
