Ingredients

Servings
  • 12 Hawaiian dinner roll
  • 8 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper cracked
  • 6 lices American cheese
  • 12 sausage precooked or homemade patties, small patties
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 2 teaspoons pure maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons everything bagel seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and spray an 8x8 inch baking dish with non-sticking cooking spray.
  2. Use a serrated knife to carefully cut the rolls in half lengthwise, while trying to keep them together. Try not to break them apart. Place the bottom half of the rolls in the prepared pan. Save the tops of the rolls for later.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Scramble and cook the eggs in a medium-sized skillet over medium heat.
  5. Layer the scrambled eggs on top of the buns in the pan, followed by the cheese, and sausage patties. Be sure to place the cheese and sausage patties in the center of each roll so they cut evenly.
  6. Place the top half of the rolls over the sausage patties.
  7. Melt the butter in a microwavable bowl. Stir in the maple syrup and everything but the bagel seasoning. Brush the butter sauce evenly on top of the buns.
  8. Cover the pan with foil and bake for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
  9. Cut into individual sliders and enjoy!

Notes

  • I used Morningstar brand sausage patties. They make the perfect size for pre-cooked patties found in the freezer section.
