Brisket Beer and Bean Chili

This Brisket Beer and Bean Chili combines tender chopped beef brisket with two types of beans, bacon, and aromatics like red onion and jalapeño. Cooked slowly with beer, tomato sauce, and a blend of chili spices, it offers a thick, hearty stew with smoky, savory, and mildly spicy flavors. The chili is suited for comforting meals and can be enjoyed as a filling main course.

Description

Brisket Beer and Bean Chili brings together cooked beef brisket and smoky bacon pieces with kidney and pinto beans. Sautéed red onion and jalapeño build a flavorful base, enhanced by chili powder, cumin, and Worcestershire sauce. The addition of beer and tomato sauce rounds out the savory and rich liquid.

The chili is simmered for about an hour until it thickens, allowing the flavors to meld and the chili powder’s spices to develop fully. The beans provide a creamy texture while the brisket and bacon contribute tender and smoky meat bites.

This chili is well-suited for colder days or casual gatherings, offering a filling and flavorful dish that pairs well with cornbread or rice. It holds well if kept warm and can be reheated gently before serving.
