Broccoli Cranberry Salad

Report
Broccoli Cranberry Salad combines crunchy fresh broccoli, diced red onions, dried cranberries, and chopped pecans with a tangy, creamy dressing made from mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, sugar, poppy seeds, and seasoning. The salad is tossed well and chilled before serving, allowing flavors to meld and textures to remain crisp. This salad works well as a side dish or light lunch accompaniment.

Description

Broccoli Cranberry Salad brings together crisp broccoli florets, sweet-tart dried cranberries, pungent red onions, and crunchy pecans coated in a creamy, slightly acidic dressing. The dressing is made by whisking mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, sugar, poppy seeds, salt, and black pepper to balance sweetness, tang, and mild spice. Tossing the salad ingredients thoroughly with the dressing ensures every bite is coated.

The salad is refrigerated for an hour before serving to allow the flavors to develop and the broccoli to absorb some dressing while retaining its crunch. This side salad offers contrasting textures and a fresh, bright taste that pairs well with grilled or roasted meats and can be served cold.

Leftovers should be kept in an airtight container and refrigerated for up to two days to maintain freshness and texture.
