This classic Broccoli Salad recipe is made with fresh broccoli, bacon, cheddar cheese, almonds, dried cranberries, onion, and a creamy homemade dressing. It's the perfect side dish for cookouts, parties, and potlucks!

Ingredients
For the salad:
- 6 cups broccoli florets chopped (about 1 lb broccoli stalks, fresh
- 1 cup cheddar cheese white or yellow, grated, sharp
- 6 Bacon chopped, cooked, strips
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries or golden raisins
- 1/2 cup almonds can use sunflower seeds, chopped pecans, or pepitas, slivered
- 1/3 cup red onion diced
For the dressing:
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt can use sour cream, plain
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey or pure maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 clove garlic minced
- salt to taste, Kosher salt
- black pepper to taste, Kosher salt
Instructions
- In a large bowl combine broccoli florets, cheese, bacon, dried cranberries, almonds, and onion.
- In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, vinegar, maple syrup, Dijon mustard, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Pour dressing over broccoli salad and stir until well combined. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour before serving.
