Broccoli Salad
Description
The salad brings together bite-sized broccoli florets with diced apple, finely chopped red onion, crispy bacon, dried cranberries, and sunflower seeds for texture and taste variety. The creamy dressing blends mayonnaise, cider vinegar, sugar, and seasoning to provide a mildly tangy and sweet coating that complements the salad's ingredients.
After tossing the salad with dressing, it is refrigerated for an hour to allow flavors to mingle and the broccoli to slightly soften while maintaining crunch. This dish serves well as a side at picnics, potlucks, or alongside sandwiches and grilled meats.
The parsley garnish on top adds a fresh herbal note and color contrast. This salad provides a blend of savory, sweet, and tangy components in a crisp, cold preparation.
