  • ½ cup craisins
  • ½ cup sunflower seeds raw or roasted, shelled
  • 8 lices Bacon cooked and crumbled

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, sugar, and vinegar and mix well.
  2. Add broccoli and Craisins and stir to coat.
  3. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or up to 24 hours.
  4. Before serving, stir in sunflower seeds and bacon.

Notes

  • Prepare the salad up to a day ahead but add bacon and sunflower seeds just before serving to keep them crisp.
  • For longer storage up to 2-3 days, hold dressing separately and combine when ready to serve.
  • Add chopped cheddar or other vegetables like cauliflower, kale, carrots, or apple chunks to vary texture and flavor.
