Brown Butter Scallops – perfectly seared scallops using brown butter. Juicy scallops that pair well with pasta. 10 mins to cook.

Ingredients
- 1 lb (500g) scallops
- salt
- ground black pepper
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon peel grated
- parsley chopped
Instructions
- Season the scallops with salt and pepper. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the butter. As the butter melts, it will slowly turn brown and begin to foam.
- Place the scallops in the hot skillet and sear on both sides until cooked through.
- Add the lemon peel and parsley, then serve immediately.
Notes
- You may add a splash or two of white wine as you sear the scallops. It's optional.
