Brown Sugar, Bacon & Brie Crescent Rolls

Brown Sugar, Bacon & Brie Crescent Rolls combine flaky crescent dough with creamy brie cheese, savory cooked bacon crumbles, and a touch of brown sugar. The brie is cut into cubes and topped with bacon and sugar before being rolled into the crescent dough and baked until golden. The result is a warm, soft, and slightly sweet pastry with rich, melty cheese and smoky bacon, suited for appetizers or snack servings.

Description

This recipe uses refrigerated crescent roll dough, unrolled and separated into individual triangles. The rind is removed from a Brie wheel, which is cut into 1-inch cubes matching the number of dough triangles. Each dough triangle is filled with one cube of Brie, brown sugar sprinkled on top, and a tablespoon of crumbled cooked bacon. The dough is then rolled up into crescent shapes enclosing the filling.

Baked at 375 degrees Fahrenheit until golden, the rolls emerge with a tender, flaky crust encasing warm, softened cheese that contrasts with the salty bacon and the sweetness of brown sugar. The combination creates a balance of creamy, savory, and sweet flavors in a small handheld form.

This dish is well-suited for serving warm as an appetizer, snack, or party finger food. Serving them soon after baking preserves the melted Brie texture and flaky crust.
