Brussel Sprouts In Oven

Report
Roasted oven-baked Brussels sprouts are halved and tossed with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper, then topped with Parmesan cheese before roasting until tender and browned. This preparation brings out a balanced combination of savory, nutty, and slightly crisp textures. The Parmesan melts and adds a sharp, salty finish to the caramelized sprouts, making them a flavorful vegetable side for various meals.

Description

Brussel Sprouts In Oven features fresh Brussels sprouts trimmed and halved, seasoned with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. These are spread in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with foil, topped with grated Parmesan cheese, and roasted at 400 degrees F. Halfway through baking, the sprouts are tossed to ensure even browning and caramelization. The roasting process yields sprouts with tender centers and slightly crispy edges enhanced by the melted Parmesan cheese.

The garlic provides an aromatic depth, while the combination of salt and pepper highlights the natural sweetness of the sprout. This recipe is a straightforward way to prepare Brussels sprouts that retain texture without becoming mushy or bitter.

These roasted Brussels sprouts complement many main courses and are best served immediately to enjoy their crispness and the fresh bite of the garlic-parmesan topping. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to four days and may be reheated gently to preserve texture.
