Brussels Sprouts with Bacon

Ingredients

  • 6 lices Bacon , diced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts , shaved
  • 3 cloves garlic , minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper coarse ground

Instructions

  1. Rinse Brussels Sprouts, add them to a large microwave-safe bowl, and cover with a wet paper towel.
  2. Microwave for 4-5 minutes or until crisp and tender.
  3. Add the bacon to a large skillet on medium-high and cook until crisp.
  4. Drain all but 1 tablespoon of grease and add in the vegetable oil.
  5. Add the Brussels sprouts and garlic and stir well.
  6. Season with salt and pepper and cook for 5-6 minutes until Brussels Sprouts are browned and crispy.
  7. Top with cooked bacon, stir and serve.
