Buffalo Cheddar Biscuits

In this scrumptious, easy biscuit recipe, everyone's favorite garlic cheddar biscuits are given a spicy twist with the addition of buffalo sauce!

Ingredients

Servings
  • 2 cups bread flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp granulated sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • ¼ cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • ½ cup butter melted then cooled, unsalted

For the Topping

  • 2 tbsp butter melted, unsalted
  • 1 tbsp buffalo sauce
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp parsley minced, fresh

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, salt, garlic powder and cheddar cheese together.
  3. In a separate small bowl, whisk the buffalo sauce, buttermilk and butter together.
  4. Add to the flour mixture and stir until a dough forms.
  5. Place 12 heaping spoonfuls of the dough on a baking stone.
  6. Bake for 12 minutes.
  7. While the biscuits are in the oven, prepare the topping by combining all of the topping ingredients in a small bowl.
  8. Remove the biscuits from the oven, and brush with the topping.
  9. Place the biscuits back into the oven for 2-3 minutes.
