Buffalo Chicken Dip

Ingredients

  • 2 cup chicken I used a rotisserie chicken, shredded, cooked
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 3/4 cup mozzarella cheese divided
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce I used Frank's Red Hot
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 3 green onions thinly sliced, white and green parts divided

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  2. Stir together cream cheese, garlic powder, white parts of green onion and sour cream until combined. Stir in ½ cup cheddar and ½ cup mozzarella, reserve other 1/4 cup of mozzarella for topping. Stir in hot sauce and shredded chicken.
  3. Transfer dip into an oven safe dish, top with remaining cheese.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes until hot and cheese is bubbly. If desired, finish under the broiler for 1-2 minutes to get cheese browned and bubbly.
  5. Garnish with remaining green onion slices.
