Buffalo Ranch Chicken Dip

Buffalo Ranch Chicken Dip combines softened cream cheese, sour cream, ranch dressing, shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, and shredded pepper jack and cheddar cheeses for a creamy, spicy appetizer. The ranch base mellows the heat while providing tang, and the mixture bakes into a hot, bubbly dip with melty cheese. Green onions add freshness and mild onion flavor. This rich dip is well suited for serving alongside chips or crunchy dippers.

Description

This dip begins by mixing softened cream cheese, sour cream, ranch dressing, half of the buffalo sauce, and sliced green onions. The mixture is spread into a casserole dish, topped with cooked shredded chicken drizzled with the remaining buffalo sauce. Finally, shredded pepper jack and cheddar cheese cover the top. Baking at 375°F for 20-25 minutes heats everything through and melts the cheese, creating a thick and bubbly dip. Letting it cool for 5 minutes helps firm it slightly.

The combination of ranch and buffalo sauce creates a creamy but tangy, spicy appetizer with the texture of melted cheese and tender chicken pieces. The pepper jack adds a bit of sharpness and heat, balanced by the cheddar's milder flavor.

Serve this dip warm with a variety of dippers like crostini, tortilla chips, soft pretzels, or celery sticks for contrasting textures and easy scooping. This makes it suitable for sharing at casual gatherings or game day snacks.
