Buffalo Snack Mix Recipe

A savory snack mix made with a buttery buffalo sauce

  • 3 cups rice chex cereal
  • 1.5 cups pretzels mini
  • 1.5 cups oyster crackers
  • 1/2 cup peanuts roasted unsalted
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. Add chex, mini pretzels, oyster crackers, peanuts, salt, onion powder, and garlic powder to a large mixing bowl and mix to combine
  3. Heat butter and hot sauce together until the butter melts
  4. Mix the hot sauce and butter into an even mixture
  5. Pour the buffalo sauce over the party mix and toss immediately
  6. Continue tossing until the buffalo sauce is evenly spread over the other ingredients
  7. Add the snack mix to the sheet pan
  8. Bake at 250F for 45 minutes tossing every 15 minutes
  9. Allow the snack mix to cool completely and then enjoy
