These Buffalo Wing Lettuce Wraps are one of my healthy go-tos!

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey ground chicken can be used too, lean
- 1/2 /2 cup onion diced finely
- 1 teaspoon garlic minced
- 3/4 /4 cup carrot use a vegetable peeler to make shavings, shavings or diced
- 1 cup celery sliced thinly
- 1 iceberg lettuce head, leaves removed to form cups
- salt
- black pepper
- 1/2 /2 cup buffalo wing sauce Frank's Red Hot brand
- blue cheese see Note, crumbles or blue cheese dressing to drizzle over the top
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown the turkey and onions over medium heat until no longer pink. Season with salt and pepper. Add garlic and cook for 1 more minute. Drain any grease if necessary.
- Stir in the wing sauce. Reduce heat to low and simmer for a couple of minutes.
- Prepare lettuce cups. Place spoonful of meat into lettuce cup, top with a few carrot shavings and chopped celery. Sprinkle with some blue cheese crumbles and/or dressing. Wrap up and start eating!
Notes
- Don't feel like you have to have the dressing and crumbles to make these...they are good with just the crumbles too.
- Nutrition is calculated without blue cheese dressing or crumbles.
