Burrata Tomato Salad

Burrata Tomato Salad features a combination of halved heirloom cherry tomatoes, sliced heirloom tomatoes, and creamy burrata cheese balls, finished with freshly cracked black pepper and Maldon salt. Torn croutons made from toasted ciabatta added for crunch, all drizzled with a fresh basil vinaigrette. The salad balances creamy, juicy, and crispy textures with fresh, vibrant flavors.

Description

This salad combines heirloom cherry and sliced tomatoes of varied colors and textures with soft, creamy burrata cheese, lending richness to the fresh produce. Seasoning with Maldon salt and freshly ground black pepper enhances the natural flavors without overpowering them.

The torn croutons are made by tearing ciabatta bread into bite-sized pieces, drizzling with olive oil, and toasting at a high temperature until crisp. These add a crunchy contrast to the softness of the tomatoes and burrata. The assembled salad is finished with a basil vinaigrette for herbal and acidic brightness that lifts the dish.

Burrata Tomato Salad works well as a light starter or a side dish in a summer meal. The combination of creamy cheese, sweet tomatoes, crunchy bread, and zesty vinaigrette offers a balanced, refreshing plate. Having extra croutons on hand is recommended to soak up the dressing fully without losing crunch.
