Ingredients
- 200 g egg noodles
- 40 g unsalted butter
- 1/2 tsp salt To taste
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Parmesan Cheese For garnish
- parsley Chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Fill a large pot with water and add a pinch of salt. Bring the water to a boil.
- Add the noodles to the boiling water and cook according to the package instructions or until they are al dente. This usually takes around 8-10 minutes.
- While the noodles are cooking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
- Once the noodles are cooked, drain them and return them to the pot.
- Pour the melted butter over the cooked noodles and toss to coat them evenly.
- Sprinkle the salt and black pepper over the noodles and give it another toss.
- Divide the buttered noodles between serving plates.
- Garnish with grated parmesan cheese and chopped fresh parsley.
- Serve the butter noodles warm as a delicious side dish or a quick main course.
