Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • teaspoon baking powder ¾
  • ¾ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • cup buttermilk
  • 6 tablespoons butter melted, unsalted
  • 2 egg large
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the waffle iron by spraying with a non stick cooking spray and preheating.
  2. In a large bowl combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir tocombine.
  3. In a smaller bowl, combine the granulated sugar, buttermilk, butter, and eggs. Whisk to combine.
  4. Add dry ingredients into wet ingredients 1⁄3 at a time, mixing in between.
  5. Pour the batter onto the waffle iron. Cook according to the directions of your waffle maker or until waffles are cooked through and crispy on both sides.
