Butternut Squash Smoothie

Report
This Butternut Squash Smoothie blends roasted and frozen butternut squash with sweet banana, dates, Greek yogurt, and cinnamon for a creamy, naturally sweet drink with a hint of warmth from the cinnamon. The addition of granola butter adds richness and subtle nutty notes, while vanilla protein powder and almond milk create a smooth texture, making it a filling and balanced smoothie option.

Description

The Butternut Squash Smoothie combines roasted butternut squash cubes with frozen banana and dates to provide natural sweetness and creamy texture. Greek yogurt adds tang and thickness, complemented by ground cinnamon's gentle spice. Granola butter contributes nutty richness, which pairs well with the cinnamon protein powder and unsweetened vanilla almond milk, keeping the flavor mild and comforting. Ingredients are blended until smooth and served cold, retaining the refreshing consistency of a smoothie.

The presence of roasted squash and the absence of strong flavorings keeps the smoothie versatile and nourishing. It is an interesting way to incorporate winter squash into a drinkable form, suitable for a snack or light breakfast. Garnishing options mentioned provide texture and visual appeal.

Preparation requires roasting and freezing the squash ahead, so planning is helpful. The smoothie can be served immediately for best texture and flavor.
