Buttery Crockpot Ranch Mushrooms

Buttery Crockpot Ranch Mushrooms are fresh whole button mushrooms cooked slowly in melted butter blended with dry ranch dressing mix. The slow cooking creates tender, flavorful mushrooms coated with herby ranch seasoning. Fresh parsley garnish adds brightness to this easy side dish.

Description

Fresh, whole button mushrooms are cleaned and placed in the bottom of a slow cooker. Melted butter is combined with a dry ranch dressing mix and poured over the mushrooms, ensuring they are evenly coated. The slow cooker is set to LOW and the mushrooms cook gently for about 3 hours until tender and infused with the buttery ranch flavor.

The result is mushrooms that have absorbed the creamy, herby seasoning, providing a rich, savory side dish with a smooth, slightly buttery mouthfeel. When ready, the mushrooms can be garnished with minced fresh parsley for color and a hint of fresh herb flavor.

This recipe can be doubled for larger groups by increasing mushrooms, butter, and ranch mix proportionally. The mushrooms maintain their texture well with gentle cooking in the slow cooker without needing constant attention.
