Cajun Blackened Steak (Filet Tips)
Report
My blackened steak is coated in a Cajun seasoning blend, then seared hot and quick in cast iron. This flavorful main is ready in 20 minutes!

Instructions
*** Note *** Be sure to cook this in a well ventilated area.
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter and pour over cubed beef chunks or dip steaks.
- Use 2 tablespoons of Cajun Blackened Seasoning for Beef and generously coat the beef all over.
- Heat a cast iron skillet until smoking hot (5-8 minutes) and sear meat until crust forms on side(s) and or until desired doneness (about 1 minute then turn meat to other side for another minute).
- Serve immediately. I like these over mashed potatoes (or any potato dish) or steamed rice and a salad.
