This homemade cajun seasoning is a simple blend of common spices that adds robust flavor, subtle heat and a little bit of kick, and it'll perk up any dish that you use it in!

Ingredients
- 3 tbsp paprika
- 1 ½ tbsp black peppercorns or 1 tbsp cracked black pepper (avoid using finely ground black pepper)
- 1 tbsp dried chili flakes/crushed red pepper
- 2 tsp dried thyme
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper optional, only if you like it spicy

Instructions
- Place all the ingredients in a spice grinder and process until the spices are ground well and blended properly.
- Transfer the spice mix to an air-tight glass bottle and store in a cool, dark place.
