  • 2 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 4 cloves garlic finely minced
  • 2 2 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 1 cup milk
  • ⅓ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ ¼ teaspoon each: sea salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a medium-sized frying pan over medium heat. Add the garlic and let it cook for 1 minute.
  2. Add the flour and stir constantly for 1 minute. Do not let it brown.
  3. Add the milk all at once and whisk until there are no lumps of flour. Let it come to a simmer for 2 minutes, or until it thickens. Whisk in the parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread about ⅓ cup on a 12-inch pizza dough. Add your favorite toppings and bake according to the dough instructions.

Notes

  • For a super smooth sauce, use a microplane to grate the garlic.
