California Roll Wrap

California Roll Wraps use flour tortillas filled with shredded surimi sticks, crisp cucumber strips, ripe mango cubes, green leaf lettuce, and fresh cilantro, all bound with a creamy sauce made from mayonnaise, sour cream, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and seasonings. Rolled tightly, they offer a fresh, sweet, and savory flavor with a variety of textures, suitable for a light lunch or snack.

Description

The California Roll Wrap combines layered fresh ingredients inside a soft tortilla wrap. The sauce blends mayonnaise, sour cream, garlic powder, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper to create a tangy, creamy spread that complements the mild sweetness of shredded imitation crab sticks (surimi), the crispness of cucumber, and the juicy sweetness of mango cubes. Green leaf lettuce provides a crisp base, and fresh cilantro adds a bright herbal note.

Tortillas are warmed briefly to soften and make rolling easier. After laying down the lettuce, the fillings are arranged in horizontal strips and drizzled with the sauce before folding the sides and rolling tightly for neat, handheld wraps. These can be served immediately or packed for a convenient meal.

The contrast of textures—crisp, juicy, creamy—is reinforced by the balance of sweet and savory elements. The roll’s assembly method maintains filling distribution and prevents sogginess.
