Candy Cane Charcuterie Board

The Candy Cane Charcuterie Board arranges a festive assortment of fresh Caprese skewers, assorted nuts, olives, cheeses, fruits, and cured meats in the shape of a candy cane. This colorful presentation features savory and sweet elements like mozzarella balls, cherry tomatoes, basil, roasted nuts, grapes, and a selection of cheeses and cured meats that provide varied textures and flavors for holiday gatherings.

Description

This board begins with Caprese skewers made by threading cherry tomatoes, fresh basil leaves, and small mozzarella balls on toothpicks. A variety of roasted and salted nuts like hazelnuts, almonds, cashews, and chestnuts scatter across the board, alongside green and Kalamata olives for briny contrast. Crumbled cheeses including Gouda, Gruyere, and Mahon add creamy, rich notes.

Raspberries, candied cranberries, and red and green grapes introduce fresh and sweet bursts to balance the savory items. Cured meats such as prosciutto, salami, and sopressata are included for protein and depth. The ingredients are arranged artfully in a candy cane shape and garnished with fresh rosemary for a festive touch. Bread or crackers can be served alongside as desired.

The composition is fully customizable — cheeses, nuts, and meats can be swapped based on preference or dietary needs. It's a visually appealing and diverse spread suitable for holiday parties or casual entertaining. Extras can be refrigerated for replenishing the board throughout an event.
