Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookies
Description
This recipe starts by sifting flour with baking soda and salt to form the dry base. Brown sugar and butter are creamed with white sugar until light and creamy, creating a smooth dough texture. Eggs and vanilla add moisture and flavor. The dry ingredients are gently folded in to maintain tenderness.
Chunks of dark chocolate and caramel bits are folded into the dough, ensuring each cookie has pockets of melting chocolate and caramel after baking. The cookie dough is portioned into balls and baked at 350 degrees Fahrenheit until golden brown edges indicate doneness while keeping the centers soft and chewy.
The result is a cookie with a balanced sweetness from sugars and caramel, contrasted by the rich chocolate chunks. These cookies suit a casual dessert or treat, holding their texture and flavors well when baked as directed.
