Caramel Pull Aparts

Caramel Pull Aparts are made by layering quartered canned biscuits in a pan, sprinkling with cinnamon, and drenching them with a hot sauce blend of melted butter, brown sugar, and ice cream. As the biscuits bake, they soak up the caramel sauce and rise into a soft, sweet, sticky bread with a cinnamon aroma, ideal for sharing as a warm, indulgent breakfast or dessert.

Description

This recipe uses pre-made quartered biscuits arranged in a greased baking pan, dusted with cinnamon sugar to add warm spice notes. A caramel sauce is prepared by melting butter with brown sugar and ice cream, which adds moisture and slight creaminess to the topping.

The hot caramel sauce is poured over the biscuit quarters before baking at moderately high heat, allowing the biscuits to bake through while absorbing the sauce. After baking, the pan is inverted onto a serving platter to reveal the caramel-coated, soft pull-apart bread pieces that are easy to separate and enjoy.

The recipe is straightforward and adaptable, allowing for preparation ahead of time by assembling and refrigerating overnight, with slightly longer baking needed. The use of different flavored ice creams can personalize the caramel sauce's richness and flavor profile.
