Carne Asada Fries

Carne Asada Fries bring together crispy baked French fries topped with seasoned carne asada steak, melted cheddar cheese, and fresh toppings like pico de gallo, guacamole, and sour cream. The combination creates a hearty, flavorful dish that mixes crunchy, savory, and creamy elements, suitable for sharing or as a filling meal.

Description

This recipe uses prepared carne asada steak and frozen French fries, baked until crisp. The fries are layered with shredded cheddar and tender, bite-sized pieces of grilled carne asada, then baked briefly to melt the cheese. The dish is finished with fresh pico de gallo, creamy guacamole, and sour cream, adding brightness, creaminess, and mild acidity.

The assembly on a sheet pan or skillet allows easy serving, and optional garnishes like cilantro and lime wedges can be added for extra freshness. Using freshly shredded cheese instead of pre-shredded improves melt quality.

The recipe recommends baking fries as per package instructions and cutting steak into uniform, bite-sized pieces for consistent eating. It is adaptable to any style of French fries preferred.
