Carrot Ginger Miso Dressing
Description
The Carrot Ginger Miso Dressing recipe combines grated carrot and minced ginger with rice wine vinegar and miso paste for a unique base. Pureeing these ingredients in a food processor or blender develops a smooth, uniform texture with the fresh vibrancy of the carrot and the piquant aroma of ginger.
While the processor runs, vegetable oil is slowly drizzled in, emulsifying the dressing to a creamy and thick consistency. The resulting dressing balances acidity, sweetness, and umami, making it versatile for drizzling over green salads, steamed vegetables, or as a dipping sauce.
The simple three-ingredient base plus oil and miso allows for quick preparation without cooking. It’s a fresh-tasting condiment that provides both brightness and depth through the combination of fresh produce and fermented miso.
