The Chai Spice Mix:

  • 1 ½ teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground allspice
  • ½ teaspoon cloves ground
  • ½ teaspoon ground cardamom

The Nuts::

  • 1 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup almond raw
  • ¾ cup cashew nuts raw
  • ¾ cup Pepitas raw
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

The Chai Spice Mix:

  1. Combine all of the spices in a small bowl. Whisk to combine.

The Nuts:

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large cast iron skillet set over medium heat.
  2. Add the almonds, cashews and pepitas, then stir in the chai spice mix and salt.
  3. Toast the nuts until starting to brown slightly, 5 to 7 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature. Store in an airtight container.
