Chanterelle Mushrooms Recipe
Description
After slicing chanterelle mushrooms into bite-sized pieces, they are gently sautéed with butter and pressed garlic in a skillet over medium-low heat to extract flavor. The mushrooms cook until tender and slightly caramelized over approximately seven minutes.
Heavy cream and Parmesan cheese are added to the pan and simmered on low heat, allowing the sauce to thicken and infuse with the mushroom flavor. This results in a creamy, cheesy sauce with a mild nutty undertone from Parmesan and a silky texture.
The sauce combines well with about eight ounces of cooked pasta to create a comforting dish where the chanterelle mushrooms remain the star ingredient, providing an elegant, earthy flavor and creamy mouthfeel.
