Ingredients
- Spreads a variety of jams, jellys & mustards
- cheese choose a variety of soft and hard cheese - spicy, soft and hard, such as Brie, Havarti, Gouda, Mozzarella, Provolone, Blue Cheese
- Cured meats a variety of meats such as salami, prosciutto, pepperoni etc
- Crackers & breads a variety of crackers, baguette and breadsticks - I used my favorite gluten-free Crunchmaster crackers
- Fruit a variety of fresh and dried fruit such as grapes, berries, clementines, dates, dried apricots
- nuts almonds, roasted pistachios, candied pecans
- mint leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Grab a large platter or a cutting board (ceramic platters, slate cheese boards, marble slabs work as well).
- Place all jams, preserves, mustards, or dips into small bowls or shallow dishes and place on the board.
- Arrange cheese selection and rolled up or sliced cured meats on the platter.
- Scatter crackers and breads to fill up space, then add your fruit and nuts to complete the beautiful charcuterie board.
- Add mint leaves as garnish and serve immediately or chill until ready to serve.
Notes
- Add color & texture! Add a variety of colorful fruits, condiments, and a variety of textures of cheeses (soft, hard & creamy), meats, crackers, and nuts. For a pop of color, I love to add some bright green mint leaves which make all the colors pop.
- Keep it simple and customize your board depending on who will be eating it. Fill your charcuterie board with foods that the people you are serving actually like.
- For gluten-free charcuterie platters, I always use my favorite Crunchmaster® crackers. They are crunchy and delicious, and everyone raves about them. You can purchase Crunchmaster® crackers at grocery stores nationwide, or on Amazon.
- If making ahead of time, wrap securely so that the cheese doesn't dry out in the refrigerator.
