Cheddar Bacon Jalapeno Cheese Ball:

  • (2) pkgs. cream cheese
  • 2 1/2 cups cheddar cheese freshly grated, sharp
  • 4 to 6 lices Bacon (crispy)
  • 2 green onions (diced)

  • 2 Tablespoons cilantro chopped, fresh
  • 2 teaspoons hot sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Cranberry Pecan Cheese Ball:

  • (2) ounce pkgs. cream cheese
  • 2 to 2 1/2 cups cheddar cheese freshly grated, sharp
  • 1 1/2 cups dried cranberries (divided)
  • 1 1/2 cups pecans (chopped and divided)
  • 2 Tablespoons chives
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce

Chocolate Chip Cream Cheese Ball:

  • (1) ounce pkg. cream cheese
  • 4 Tablespoons butter (softened)
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (mini or regular)
  • 1/2 cup Milk Chocolate Toffee Bits

Instructions

Cheddar Bacon Jalapeno Cheese Ball:

  1. Cook bacon according to package instructions. Set aside to drain on paper towels. Then cut into small pieces.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whip cream cheese for 2 minutes. Add cheddar cheese, green onions, jalapeno, cilantro, hot sauce, and garlic powder. Fold in chopped bacon. Taste for seasonings and add salt and pepper as needed.
  3. Roll into a ball and wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve. I suggest chilling for at least 30 minutes. It allows the flavors to develop together.
  4. Serve with crackers.

Cranberry Pecan Cheese Ball:

  1. In a mixing bowl, whip cream cheese for 2 minutes. Add cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup of cranberries, 1/2 cup of chopped pecans, chives, garlic powder, worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce. Taste for seasonings and add salt and pepper as needed.
  2. Roll into a ball and wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve. I suggest chilling for at least 30 minutes. It allows the flavors to develop together.
  3. When ready to serve, press the remaining 1 cup of dried cranberries and 1 cup of chopped pecans on the outside of the cheese ball.

Chocolate Chip Cream Cheese Ball:

  1. In a mixing bowl, whip the cream cheese and butter for 2 minutes. Add brown sugar, powdered sugar, and vanilla and mix for 1 minute longer.
  2. Fold in chocolate chips and toffee bits.
  3. Roll into a ball and wrap in plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator to chill for at least 1-2 hours to allow time to set up. When ready to serve, may roll into mini chocolate chips. Serve with pretzels or fruit.

Notes

  • This is such an easy appetizer and takes less than 15 minutes to put together. I do suggest wrapping the cheese balls and chilling in the refrigerator to allow it to firm up and the flavors to meld together.
