Cheese Fries

Cheese Fries combine crispy cooked french fries topped with melted cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, smoky crumbled bacon, fresh green onions, and chopped parsley. The heating process melts the cheese evenly over the fries, creating a rich, gooey layer that contrasts with the crispiness of the fries beneath. Served with ranch dressing on the side or drizzled on top, this dish is a flavorful snack or side.

Description

This recipe relies on frozen French fries cooked according to package instructions until crisp. The fries are then topped with shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese and returned to a hot oven to melt the cheeses thoroughly. Adding cooked and crumbled bacon brings a smoky, savory element, while sliced green onions and chopped parsley add fresh, mild onion flavor and herbaceous brightness.

The final dish offers a combination of textures from crunchy fries to melted cheese and crisp bacon bits, complemented by the creamy, tangy ranch dressing either served alongside or drizzled over the top. It's a popular accompaniment to casual meals or enjoyed as a comforting snack.
