Cheesy Bacon Egg Breakfast Sliders
Description
This recipe starts by baking bacon to crispness and scrambling eggs with milk, salt, and pepper until just set. The Hawaiian rolls are sliced horizontally to separate the tops and bottoms. The bottoms are placed in a baking dish, then layered with the scrambled eggs, cooked bacon, and slices of Marble Jack cheese. The tops of the rolls are placed back on, then the whole assembly is sliced into individual slider-sized sandwiches.
A savory butter mixture combining melted butter with onion powder, garlic powder, and dried parsley is brushed atop the slider tops to add flavor and promote browning during baking. The sliders bake at 350°F just until the cheese melts and the sliders are heated through, resulting in warm, soft, melty breakfast sandwiches.
These sliders combine the richness of eggs and cheese with the smoky saltiness of bacon and the sweet softness of Hawaiian rolls. They are well-suited to feeding a group for breakfast or brunch events, as they are easy to slice and serve.
