Cheesy Bacon Turkey Sliders
Description
The recipe begins by slicing slider buns horizontally and laying the bottoms in a baking dish. A layer of shredded turkey is spread over the buns, topped with crisp cooked bacon, and finished with provolone cheese slices. The bun tops are placed on, and the entire set is cut between buns to create individual sliders before baking.
A mixture of melted butter, honey mustard, and poppy seeds is brushed over the buns, giving the outside a flavorful glaze that bakes up to a golden, slightly sweet crust. Baking at 350°F for 20 minutes melts the cheese and warms the fillings without drying the bread.
These sliders combine the lean protein of turkey with smoky bacon and smooth provolone for a satisfying bite. The sweet and tangy honey mustard butter topping adds a finishing flavor layer. They work well warm out of the oven at parties or for easy family meals.
