Cheesy Breakfast Pie Recipe
Description
The Cheesy Breakfast Pie starts by mixing eggs, Bisquick baking mix, milk, salt, pepper, chopped cooked bacon, and half of the cheddar cheese. This mixture creates a baked custard base that binds the pie together. The mixture is poured into a greased 10" pan, followed by an even layer of thawed diced hash browns spread on top.
Remaining bacon pieces and shredded cheddar cheese are sprinkled over the hash browns, then the pie is baked in a 400°F oven until set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. The result is a savory, dense breakfast dish combining tender baked egg with crispy cheese and bacon accents, alongside the textured potatoes.
This pie offers a filling option for mornings or brunch and can be sliced to serve multiple people. The layered ingredients and baking steps ensure the hash browns cook through and the cheese melts into a golden top.
