Cheesy Cheddar Garlic Breadsticks

Delicious and cheesy cheddar garlic breadsticks that are made with a quick and easy dough recipe!  These will be in and out of the oven in no time and you won’t be able to stop eating them!

Ingredients

Servings

Dough Recipe:

  • 1 ½ cups water warm
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon yeast
  • 3 ½ cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Garlic Cheddar Topping

  • 6 tablespoons butter salted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 teaspoon Parmesan Cheese
  • parsley chopped, for garnish

Instructions

Dough

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. In a small bowl, add 1 ½ cups warm water, 2 tablespoon sugar, and 1 tablespoon yeast. Stir together and let sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add 3 ½ cups flour and 1 teaspoon salt to a stand mixer. Add the yeast mixture and mix until smooth. Allow the dough to raise for 10 minutes.
  3. Roll the dough into a large rectangle on a large cookie sheet, or roll it out onto a 10-inch pizza pan about ¼ inch thick. Let the dough rest for another 10 minutes.
  4. Melt the 6 tablespoons salted butter, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning. Brush on top of the pizza dough. Sprinkle with 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, and 1 teaspoon parmesan cheese. Top with chopped parsley for garnish.
  5. Bake for 15-17 minutes until golden brown and the cheese is bubbly. Remove from oven and cut into strips.
