Cheesy Chicken Mince Fritters with Broccoli
Description
Cheesy Chicken Mince Fritters with Broccoli combine ground chicken, finely chopped cooked broccoli, and shredded mozzarella cheese with breadcrumbs and egg to hold the mixture together. The broccoli adds moisture and texture without overpowering the mild flavor of the chicken and cheese. Formed into small patties about 6 centimeters wide and baked at 200°C, these fritters develop a golden exterior while maintaining tenderness inside. The optional yoghurt ranch sauce, made with herbs and garlic, complements the fritters with a light tang and herbaceous note.
The recipe advises choosing fresh, less wet chicken mince for better texture and suggests that any cheese can be used though salt content may require adjustment. Additional vegetables such as grated carrot or zucchini can be incorporated to enhance nutrition and flavor. The fritters are served fresh from the oven to preserve texture and are versatile for various serving occasions including snacks or casual meals.
The ingredients and cooking steps are designed to produce about 15 fritters, making this a good recipe for feeding several people or for leftovers. The method involves mixing ingredients, shaping fritters, and baking with cooking spray to achieve a pleasing golden finish.
