Cheesy Garlic Bread

With 4 types of cheese and fresh minced garlic, this Cheesy Garlic Bread recipe is bursting with flavor. The perfect addition to spaghetti night, this garlic bread with cheese also makes a wonderful appetizer on its own.

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread sliced in half lengthwise.
  • 1.4 cup butter softened
  • 2 Teaspoons garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese grated
  • 4 ounces mozzarella shredded mixture
  • 4 ounces provolone shredded mixture
  • 4 ounces colby jack shredded mixture
  • 4 ounces mozzarella shredded mixture
  • parsley chopped, fresh
  • oregano dried

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Take the ¼ cup (or half a stick) of butter and place it in a microwave-safe bowl.
  3. Soften the butter.
  4. To the butter, add the garlic, salt and parmesan cheese, stir to combine.
  5. Using a butter knife of spatula, divide the mixture evenly between the two halves of bread and spread to cover the entire side of each bread half.
  6. Sprinkle a pinch of fresh parsley and dried oregano over the bread.
  7. Divide the mozzarella and provolone cheese between the two halves and spread evenly.
  8. Divide the Colby Jack mixture and spread evenly on top of the mozzarella and provolone.
  9. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the edges begin to brown.
